Reed Cutting on the Broads.
Mr Eric Edwards, one of the last of the Marshmen who makes a living cutting high quality reed, used for thatching houses and churches, on the river Ant on the Broads of Norfolk, England. He has cut reed for over 30 years and now works for the Broads Authority. The positive conservation efforts employed by the authority over the past years have resulted in high quality yields of reeds in recent years.
